The Faces of Finger Lakes
Wine Country Campaign

THE BRIEF: Finger Lakes Wine Country wanted to deepen its brand narrative beyond destinations and experiences — to put real faces and real stories at the center of what makes the region worth visiting. The goal was a human-centered campaign that could live across paid digital, social, and the FLWC website, featuring the entrepreneurs and community members who define the region’s character.

WHAT BWM DID: Brave World Media conceived, produced, art directed, and shot the full Faces of Finger Lakes Wine Country campaign. We developed the campaign framework, identified and coordinated five community profiles — including Dr. Frank’s Winery, Finger Lakes Distilling, Amity Coffee Company, Nooshe Joon Farm, and the Owego Kitchen — and produced a hero campaign video, five individual profile videos, 15- and 30-second cutdowns, a suite of paid digital banner ads, and social media content assets for distribution across FLWC’s channels.

THE CONTEXT: The Faces campaign ran as paid digital banner ads and video across FLWC’s target markets. It was produced during a period of significant growth for the FLWC brand. During BWM’s active partnership with Finger Lakes Wine Country, the organization’s Instagram following grew 16% in a single year, reaching 19.4K followers. FLWC’s broader 2023 integrated media campaign — of which editorial and video content like Faces was a cornerstone — generated 18 million impressions and over 120,000 total engagements across all channels. The Faces campaign’s paid digital assets ran across those same distribution pipelines.

The campaign also contributed to FLWC’s recognition as Best Wine Region in the USA two consecutive years — a milestone BWM helped design, document, and amplify.
